At the beginning of the Spanish civil war, a copy of Luis Bunuel’s film, "The Golden Age", was buried on one of the Canary Islands. This is the basis for the inquiry on the Grand Canary Islands, to try to find the hidden reels. As the rhythm of seemingly fruitless island hopping leads the director to Tenerife and Lanzarote, she will turn the burial of "The Golden Age" into a sort of metaphor. Through free association and various meetings, the film will become a search for dreams and desires, where the characteristics of the insular culture will reveal another form of reality, in contradiction to the idyllic image vaunted by the tourist industry.
